David Mills-McEvoy is the creative force behind Makk, weaving introspective lyrics, cinematic folk arrangements, and a passionate vocal delivery into a cohesive artistic vision. Onstage and in the studio, David shapes Makk’s sound with a balance of vulnerability and boldness, while offstage, he is the driving force behind the band’s creative direction, ensuring each project reflects a rich narrative.

Harry Stobart is Makk’s rhythmic backbone, delivering dynamic drumming that ranges from subtle folk beats to explosive, cinematic crescendos. His intuitive playing anchors each track, bringing both power and nuance. Offstage, Harry’s collaborative spirit helps shape the band’s creative direction, ensuring every live performance is both tight and emotionally resonant.

David Bullock anchors Makk’s sound with his versatile bass lines and ambient textures, giving the band an atmospheric foundation. Driving a rhythmic groove or layering subtle ambient flourishes, David’s musicianship adds depth and nuance to every track. Dexter Duffy-Howard is the violinist behind Makk’s ethereal string textures, bringing a rich, cinematic dimension to the band's alt-folk sound. Classically trained yet equally at home in contemporary genres, Dexter’s intuitive playing weaves seamlessly through Makk’s arrangements whether in stripped back folk ballads or sweeping, cinematic epics. Offstage, Dexter contributes to arrangement sessions and is known for their calm presence, balancing the band’s dynamic energy with a steady musical intuition.
